Self-sustainability is easier than you might imagine.
Let us guide you through our step-by-step processing method. We’re happy to travel to you, or you can bring your birds to us! We have equipment on-site and are glad to help you learn about the tools we use. We never charge for this, but we do provide an equipment list before your appointment. Please note, we are not a USDA facility but simply a small farm eager to teach.

A few times a year, Gumpert Homestead processes its own stock, and during these days, you're invited to come and learn the process! It's a fantastic opportunity to see if raising meat chickens, quail, or rabbits is the right fit for you.
